A Brow Lift Corrects Signs of Aging In The Forehead And Brow Region

Traditional Brow Lift

Because of the invasive nature of the traditional brow lift, it is performed in a hospital or surgical center under anesthesia.  This surgery is designed to address the entire forehead: eyebrow position, forehead wrinkles and frown lines.    While this procedure is effective in many patients, we feel that it often results in an unnatural, operated look.  Especially now, utilizing a multimodality approach, there has been a shift to less aggressive techniques.

Minimally-Invasive Brow Lift

Typically, the most evident sign of brow aging is descent and hooding of the outer third of the eyebrow.  This exaggerates the wrinkling of the upper eyelid skin.

For most  of our patients, our minimally invasive brow lift will address their concerns. This technique is used to lift the lateral portion of the eyebrow (up toward the temples).  The procedure can be performed in-office and no general anesthesia is required.

When combines with blepharoplasty, this technique is effective in preserving or restoring facial harmony.
